Wicklow Golf Club: April 2015

A nice sunny day down in Wicklow but with a cool enough temperature made it for a relatively good day to be out and about on a golf course. The course was tough enough with undulating fairways and fast greens. We nearly had a 100% turn out of the membership as well as two visitors. Don O'Sullivan was the only man over 32 points on a tough scoring day and he took first prize. Two deuces on the day from Sean Davy and Gerry Doyle. No nearest the pin - first time in the society's history.
The Captain's Balls prize was picked up by Tony McCormack. Tony felt like Rory McIlroy on the way out but played more like Sammy McIlroy after 18 holes. Martin O'Byrne was presented with a past President's token of appreciation from the club.

Vice captain Mark splits the deuce money between Gerry and Sean

Front nine for Eamonn....

Back nine for our Donegal Rep, Ciaran

Happy Ger with his 4th place prize..

A great 3rd spot for Ritchie

Super Thumb Jimmy - a great second place.

A token of our appreciation to Martin as Past President...

Don takes the top prize with 32 points on a very testing day of golf - Well done, Don.
